The West Midland Safari and Leisure Park is a safari park found on the A456 in Bewdley in Worcestershire, Britain , opened in 1973. The park contains a 4-mile safari. The safari section contains around six hundred animals from around thirty different species from Europe, Africa, Far East, Australasia and Northern America.Together with the four mile safari, is a massive theme park, a 'Discovery Sector ' containing reptile and insect homes among other attractions. Also, there's access to Spring Grove House. The entire park is built in the grounds of the house.
This in depth Safari and Leisure Park covers an area of some two hundred acres. It is centered at family entertainment and visitors get the possibility to drive through the Safari Park and then spend some time at the Park's entertainments. An armband is issued so that there's no individual queing important to pay for the rides. This is a neat place to spend a day with the family even though it can get extraordinarily busy and crowded in top season and at weekends.The latest exhibit at the safari park is 'Cheetah Fields '.
At the beginning of the 2008 season, two cheetah were let out into their own exhibit. In Aug, another six cheetah aged between seven and fifteen months joined them, bringing the total of cheetah at the park to eight.
