Severn Valley Country Park is one of Shropshire's best country parks and was the 1st park in Shropshire to attain the respected Green Flag Award.The Country Park is well utilised by both area folk from the villages of Highley and Alveley and also by day visitors and vacation makers from the remainder of Shropshire, the Black Country and beyond.
Shropshire Council wants to discover more about the individuals that visit, what their desires are, and how best to back the park to meet those wishes. The Centre is open each Wed.through to Sun. and Bank Vacations Nov to March 11.00am - 4.00pm ( tea shop 11.30am - 4.00pm ), Apr to October 12noon - 5.00pm ( tea shop twelve - 5.00pm ) and at other times by previous arrangement.The Countryside Service looks after a couple of country sites in the Bridgnorth District. Through working with local communities and consultation, we manage these sites for your delight and to guard wildlife. As well as our in depth events program, we also offer college and group visits, birthday parties and hire of the Visitor Centre for groups, conferences and evening talks.The service is the Severn Valley Country Park in Alveley and regardless of what your age or interest we are hoping there's something here to fit you.
